Isolux has been awarded a construction project electrical installations in Gabon for an amount of 34.6 million euros, according to the group.
The contract will allow the company to boost its internationalization and enhance their experience in developing such facilities in Africa, where he now runs similar projects totaling 150 million euros .
jobs now target achieved electrify 33 towns in Gabon. To do this, install 200 kilometers of power lines and a transformer substation.
The work, which has a deadline of thirty months, ensure the power to more than 10,000 people in rural areas currently without energy supply.
The project is part of the modernization plan developed by the Government of the country to promote economic development and improve the quality of life of citizens.
Isolux view, this contract will strengthen experience that the company has in implementing this type of work in Africa. Currently running similar projects, totaling 150 million euros, in Mauritania and Angola, as well as in Gabon, in addition to those already made in seven other states for $ 100 million.
